X-CADE barricade construction begins with a perfectly clean, highly polished, two-piece mold to ensure no imperfections for the final composite.
-
Layers of gelcoat are sprayed onto the mold to form the outer layer of each barricade.
-
Each barricade is then laid up with a precise number of layers of fiberglass, resin, and various core materials that are all placed in each mold by hand.
-
X-CADE is a deployable, modular firing platform that trains soldiers for rifle and automatic rifle primary marksmanship instructions and qualification.
-
Barricade stands are constructed out of steel in a T-shape which is inserted into the lower composite layer of the barricade base and held in place by safety pins.
-
The stands are 1/8 inches thick, 4 inches wide and 4 feet long.

The stands can be anchored into the ground by a 6-inch rod maintaining a load profile into the ground to eliminate trip hazards.
